Joshua Rubenstein has been professionally involved with human rights and international affairs for over forty years as an activist and independent scholar with particular expertise in Russian affairs. Joshua Rubenstein was on the staff of Amnesty International USA from 1975 to 2012, serving as an organizer and Northeast Regional Director. Joshua Ruebl is an American dramatist, poet, and essayist. He has a wide range of influences and interests including avant classical and experimental music, cultural critic and sociologist Theodor Adorno, the writings of Guy Debord, and Western and Eastern esotericism. He holds an MA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in playwriting and theatre theory from Humboldt State University in Northern California, and a BFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
